OK, here it is, September already. I hope you’re all rested, refreshed and raring to go to get back to work making good men better. We left a little back log of work that we need to get started on right off the bat.
My family had a happy occasion last June when my Grandson was drafted by the Oakland baseball organization to play professional ball. He won’t start with them right off the bat, but we are pretty happy about it. He will start at Fresno State on a full ride scholarship in base ball to begin with.
The coffee club went right on through the dark period and picked up a few more candidates for Masonry that will be ready to submit their petitions by the time we open up again.
The family barbecue has been scheduled for Saturday, September the 25th. Put it on your calendar.
By the way: The man who worries about what people think of him, wouldn’t worry so much if he only knew how little they do.
Fraternally,
Stan
Worshipful Master
I hope September finds everyone well rested and ready to resume our labors for the remainder of this Masonic Year. If all of you have enjoyed your time off as I have, then your Summer has been well spent. It was my pleasure to represent our Grand Master at the Grand Lodge Sessions of Montana. Brethren, if you ever have the opportunity to visit Montana, by all means do so. The beauty of it, especially western Montana, and the friendliness of the people cannot be surpassed. In speaking with our Master it appears that the workload will remain at about the same level as before the Summer break. That means we can expect to have a continuing stream of degrees to perform for the rest of this year. I would like to see more of the officers step in and take on a larger portion of the work.
You need to participate! Now is the Time!
Fraternally,
Mike
Senior Warden
Welcome back! I hope everyone had great Summer and enjoyed your time off from Lodge work. This is the month that we prepare our annual returns for Grand Lodge, so if you have received your notice from Grand Lodge, and you have not paid your dues by the Stated Meeting, you will be susupended for Non Payment of Dues!
By the looks of the report we will show a slight increase in membership. Thanks to those of you who have supported the Lodge in all of the degree work throughout the year and this Summer. I look forward to seeing you at the Stated Meeting.
Fraternally,
Mark
Secretary
